Losing a loved one is always difficult. There will always be pain just as losing a finger, hand, foot, eye or any other part of your body. A loved on such as a mother, father, sister brother or dear friend is a part of your life just as a finger, foot, arm, leg, or eye is part of your body, and the severance is always painful, but the pain will subside in time. The severity of the pain is equivalent to the active part the loved one played in your daily life. They will still be a part of you just as they always have been, except it is a part of you that will no longer evolve with you as you continue your journey. Their journey is complete, just as the part of you they filled is complete and you shall continue your journey through life with that part being completed. They will always exist as part of your self-identification, and their memory will continue to influence you throughout the remainder of your life. The only consultation is knowing that they are now resting from their journey through life's struggles. Remember, when it's your turn to leave this life, you also will create that same pain for others who held you dearly in their hearts.
